Introduction to I Wanna Make Something
I work in an office with a lot of creative women. The woman who sits in the cube next to me is the most creative of all. She used to be a school teacher. Her mind is amazing. Her cube would make Martha Stewart proud. My boss is also very creative. She makes all kinds of things, t-shirts, pillows, crafty things. These are just two. We have a large group and I feel like the only one who is a complete blank slate. I started working with these women three years ago, just before Halloween. You cannot imagine how they decorated our workspace. It was even a competition between other departments. I have never seen anything like it. I loved it. It woke up that creative child inside. My inner creative child has always been shy and unsure of herself. She wants to come out and play, but when she does her thing, it comes out looking like it was always meant to be an abstract concept of whatever it is she was going for.
